About Me
IT'S FALL, Y'ALL!
I am a full time student and mom to two fat, spoiled cats and a part time peddler of luxury gift items. My boyfriend, cats, worms, and I live in a 100+ year old apartment that I’m convinced is crumbling down around us. I am currently working on my bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis in creative writing and a minor in women’s studies at the Mississippi University for Women (name change pending)—reading and writing papers takes up 75% of my time. I enjoy spending the remaining 25% sitting on my porch drinking muscadine wine, eating chips and salsa, working in my garden and tending to my ever-growing red wiggler population, sewing (especially from vintage patterns, especially using thrift-store fabrics), baking anything crumbly and fruity, and watching a too much TV. I have a growing obsession with figuring out how to make grocery store staples at home, including deodorant and toothpaste. I haven’t used shampoo in years, and I’m hoping I can eventually say the same for face wash.
